Joy Breeders is an organic body care company with a big mission: to inspire you to liberate your soul. We believe in disrupting societal norms and owning who it feels best for us to be. We celebrate silliness, weirdness, messiness, and everything else having to do with “human-ness.” We inspire this movement through our messaging, facing the things that make us uncomfortable head-on and ultimately taking back our power over words or ideas commonly treated as “taboo.” Our products also rebel against societal norms, as we refuse to use toxic ingredients that have become so accepted by regulatory agencies, and therefore by the general population. Our hero product, “MOIST” Hand & Body Butter Cream, was formulated by necessity to alleviate skin issues suffered by a loved one, who was advised by doctors to use chemically infused products that simply didn’t work. While we absolutely do not make any medical claims, the phrase we most often hear from our customers is “nothing has ever worked for my dry skin, but this works!” Our relationship with our customers is our top priority and as a result of listening to their needs, we have also formulated a Lip Whip called “Pouty Mouth,” which is a fairly obvious tribute to our love for cussing. As we continue to expand, we are steadfast in our mission to provide clean body care (“that works!”) while empowering our customers to break the shackles of cultural standards through the naming and messaging of our products.
