Hispanic Women's Farming Proyecto is a non-profit educational project of Buena Vida Farm for the benefit of local immigrant women. The farm's owners provide land, water, tools, and expertise, as well as administration of the educational program so that the women can learn about agriculture and business management while growing and selling their own vegetables. Specialties include all the vegetables customers need to make delicious salsas as well as crops indigenous to the women's home cultures such as huazontles, chipilin, and hierba mora. A given year's crops will include a variety of popular vegetables, many of them heirlooms. Markets include such venues as Boulder Farmer's Market On-Line Ordering, and Morning Fresh Dairy's deliveries of our veggies to their home delivery customers. Once a month local pick-up of vegetables ordering through the farm's website is another venue for customers to buy.
