Hunters Moon Meadery is a small, family run Meadery/Honey Winery operating since December 2010. The Meadery is in a load-bearing strawbale barn built by the owners and located behind their home in a large lot subdivision in Severance, Colorado. Greg and Kim raise their own bees on the premises and most of the Meads are made using their own honey.
There are usually 12-17 Meads available to taste. Majority of Meads have won at least one International medal. 46 Medals so far. Flavors range from an Off - Dry Colorado native plum, Semi-sweet Palisade Peach, Wild Huckleberry, Earl Grey Tea infused, Organic Lemon, Saffron, Pineapple/Habanero, Sweet Kona Coffee & Specialty honey flavors like our Velvet Moon - blackberry blossom honey Mead aged 9 years.
Tastings are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY as per HOA rules.
